Summary
Shane winds up at Ilya's door after a break up with an Alpha that wanted nothing more than a soft little pregnant house Omega. He'd always felt drawn to him, knowing he was safe. The only problem was that Ilya was his Captain. His inner Omega didn't care, that bitch.
Ilya had been attracted to those big brown eyes and freckles since the moment he'd seen Shane. He'd been told his whole life there was a certain type of look that any respectable Alpha should be attracted to. Shane did not fit the look and he wasn't about to mould him into anything.
AKA Two idiots that have been in love for years may finally get a chance, especially if their friends and family have anything to say about it. Anyone with eyes could see they were attracted to each other, again, except the two idiots in love.

He's one of few humans that works in that office but he loves his job. Shane answered an ad when he was 19, broke and desperate, too proud to ask his parents for help. He offered up blood and in exchange, money for rent, food and clothes. A perfect deal. Except Shane got so much more than that. He gained a second family and a permanent spot in their pack of vampires. Shane considered Zane and his wife Cassie his second set of parents. Overprotective vampire parents. It was the best decision Shane ever made.

Ilya, 200 year old Senior Partner at Boodram, Rozanov and Associates Vampire Law Office in Boston. He runs a tight ship, being ruthless in and out of the courtroom. Taking over the firm when his father had died filled him with doubt but taking it over was the best thing decision he'd ever done.
