Daphne pries a picture frame off the table and slides it over to Sabrina. Granny Relda had taken it after they’d gotten back from New York. In front of the Grimm house, the older woman had urged the three children in front whilst she and Mr. Canis stood behind them. With Elvis at Daphne’s feet, they’d all posed before the polaroid. And for the first time in a long time, Sabrina had felt like she was part of a family again.
Grasping the picture now, she realizes she’d do anything to go back to that moment.
“Maybe Granny does have her secrets,” Daphne’s saying, her voice imploring. “Everyone has secrets. We have secrets. Who cares? She loves us. And we love her. Right?”
Sabrina just presses her lips tightly together. Her stare darts from the 8 Ball in her left hand to the polaroid in her right. She thinks of it all and realizes she doesn’t know the truth. And she wonders if she ever did.

Fionna accepts a tray of Christmas tree cookies and iced cocoa, her mouth watering at the sight of them as she absent-mindedly says, “Oooooh, I looooove special entertainment”. With some effort, she pulls her stare from the tray and turns it upon the front entrance, her eyes widening as they lock onto the man in the doorway.
Sporting an orange mohawk and a jacket covered in blue flames, Phelix casts an aloof smile about the room before he strides easily towards the deejay booth.

Badly wounded, Sam's body uses all its remaining resources in an attempt to slowly heal him, and it's a long way back home. The cravings and even the agony of the cure aren't the worst things Sam has to face.
