Summary
Armitage Hux is the reluctant sole proprietor of Hux and Sons Funeral Home, following his father’s death in a car crash. With the latest in a long string of embalmers having quit on him (the last one being his brother Techie’s feckless boyfriend Matt), Hux needs a new embalmer ASAP, as he can’t do everything himself. Enter Kylo Ren. Heavily pierced and tattooed, with a love of Scandinavian death metal, he’s about as far from what Hux was looking for in an embalmer as possible. Ren proves himself to be quite capable, but can he and Hux work together without killing each other?

Summary
Years of working in a teaching hospital primed Robby for answering a variety of unexpected things. There are no stupid questions. Every question asked is an opportunity to learn. Valuable bits of information will be unlocked in life simply from being unafraid to ask for them.
The philosophy is sound. Until Dennis and Jack start asking questions and decide Robby's an idiot who's giving all the wrong answers. He has to get through to them that there are some things in life you just don't want to know.
OR: Dennis and Jack corner Robby in a Chili's booth to talk about their feelings.

“Whitaker’s boyfriend, Ewan. He’s turned into a real Loveberry lately,” Victoria gushed, her eyebrows going up and down. It must be a real thrill for her to gossip with her ex-attending.
“Whitaker’s what?”
The energy of the room shifts in an instant. Robby’s face turns downward, and he almost drops his coffee. The pitch of his voice was almost venomous, full of pure, unfiltered disgust.
Or: Whitaker has a boyfriend, Robby is deeply jealous, and everyone mistakes his jealousy as homophobia.

Robby goes to his knees. Jack almost swallows his tongue. “What are you doing?”
“Now I need to take your inseam,” Robby says, looking up at him with warm brown eyes, entirely serious, and Jack is speechless. A rarity. “The inside measurement of your leg,” he clarifies, sitting back on his haunches, “as well as the outside. Is that alright? It must’ve been a while since you’ve had your measurements taken if you don’t remember this part.” He smiles wryly this time, holding out the tape. “I know it’s an awkward area. I’ll be…delicate.”

Summary
He took his time settling back into real life, but the inevitable came to pass as it always does, and Robby made his return to work. He tried to slip in quietly and begin his apology tour as unceremoniously as possible and was more or less successful, the only boisterous Welcome Backs coming from a couple of frequent flyers who’d not known about his extended vacation until he’d already left. And while Robby had tried not to make a priority list, there was one name that stood out above the others, and when he’d had a chance to speak to everyone else, he beelined toward the breakroom where he’d seen the recipient of his final act of groveling slip away to get a cup of coffee before the day got away from them.

Summary
Robby's job wasn't usually interesting, frustrating maybe. He'd picked up two hitchhikers over the course of his over 2-decade-long career as a trucker. After one threw up in his truck, he'd sworn it off. But now, he saw a kid standing on the side of the road, looking like he was on the verge of passing out, and Robby felt too bad to drive by. The kid just stared at him. Robby rolled down his window.
"You need help getting in?"
The kid shook his head and stumbled to the passenger side of the truck, pulling himself up, placing a torn-up backpack on the floor. He closed the door and leaned against the window.
