Summary
Solas paused only for a mere fraction of a second before continuing, his pace even more hurried. One of Mythal’s temples. Mythal’s dragon. There was a pattern to such targets and he was not fond of what it told him.
“Her temple and her dragon?”
“And me,” Solas confirmed, voice low. Felassan glanced at him, eyes wide. “Tasked with keeping me occupied. Her wolf, as they so enjoy to say.”
Horror encapsulated Felassan’s face, his aura pulsing deep breadths of fear, of rage, of uncertainty. “They’re going to kill her.”
A clap of thunder echoed through the Crossroads amidst the crimson-soaked beams of the eclipsed sun.
Solas began to run.

Summary
In the year 9.37 Dragon, the Chantry in the Hightown of Kirkwall was destroyed in a vast magical explosion, sparked by the apostate known as Anders. Of course, it wasn’t all his own work; it made use of the fragile Veil and the intricate sigils throughout the city’s layout, both relics of the Tevinter magisters of old. Kirkwall had always been created to be the site of a massive feat of magic to change the world - it had just fallen dormant.
The explosion lit up the city of Kirkwall, rattled teacups as far away as Starkhaven, but its shockwaves reverberated through the Fade even louder. Spirits swarmed or fled, depending on their nature; those who had been asleep at that moment all awoke at once with an intense feeling of foreboding, that something had happened or was about to happen.
In fact, only two remained in the Fade, dreaming or close enough.

The man visibly suppressed an eyeroll. “I’m sure you will enlighten me.”
He tapped Solas’s nose with his finger. “Who I tell.”

Ameridan joins the Inquisition, and is immediately suspicious of 'humble elven apostate' Solas. He sets out to discover whether he is, in fact, the same Solas from Felassan's old stories - and all that would mean.

“Only when I stand next to my Chief,” he grinned, a running joke. Tarquin just sighed and rolled his eyes, and Krem decided he liked his face, even more when it was annoyed at him.

“Perhaps not specifically. You see, the problem about writing on drow society is one often does not make it up from the Underdark to hand pages to publisher. Of course there are many…less researched volumes. Of hapless men and leather-clad matrons. But I told Shadowheart I would be a gentleman, so that is all I will say on the more sordid parts of my education. You’ve nothing to fear.”

The question startled Gale, who looked up from where he sat cross-legged in front of his tent, organizing his scrolls in preparation for their upcoming “visit” to the goblin camp. He’d given Astarion a wide berth since the revelation of his vampiric condition a few days earlier, so he was surprised to see the pale elf looming over him now, a peculiar expression on his face.
“You know,” Gale offered with a smile, “in my extensive journeys across manifold realms, I do believe that is not a question that I’ve ever been asked before. I honestly can’t decide whether or not I should be offended.”

Of the many side effects Gale has faced as a result of his whole “being physical host to an imminently destructive magical orb” problem, he somehow never anticipated his blood now apparently smelling irresistible to vampires (or at least, one particular vampire) to be one of them.

It's been over a decade since the Blight. Shianni has been leading Denerim's alienage as their Bann and hahren, but she has never forgotten those who Tevinter took all those years ago. She is going to bring her lost people back or bring back the heads of those who took them.
Fenris has been away from the company of his friends for years, instead working as the Blue Wraith to give the slavers of Thedas exactly what they deserve. Only now he is being tasked by the same friends with bringing a Bann with a death wish back to Denerim.
Both are clearly very emotionally stable. What could possibly go wrong?
