Summary
Grian and Scar are clones, having grown up together in a world where their fate is to eventually donate their organs to ordinary people until they die. First, they become carers who look after donors before becoming a donor themselves in the peak of their health. However, Scar and Grian were Hailsham students. Hailsham was a prestigious boarding school for clones, cut off from the rest of ‘90s England. But after attaining some freedom as they get older, they still find that they cannot run away from their miserable existence.
This is scarian or desert duo in a world where they are the main protagonists of Kazuo Ishiguro’s ‘Never Let Me Go’. (I've basically rewritten the end of the novel just with more flashbacks that I personally made)
You can still read this even if you haven’t read or watched the original and even if you don’t plan to - but be wary of spoilers!

I love the phantom being it's only purpose to love Shadow and pursues him relentlessly, rest in peace bro you will be remembered
And by God, the crust of this being Shadow recognising Sonic not just as a tragic muse but a person that is caught between life and death with his autonomy basically stripped
LOVE THIS, TYSM NEBRASSKA, following this from start to finish has been a wonderful journey indeed

Gosh, what a ride, honestly the word count didn't feel like it, time passed me by
This series does tremendously well on every single aspect; characterising them as a whole was done so well! The dynamics pushin' and pulling each other were OUT OF THIS WORLD, especially Shadow's perspective near the end that so heavily influenced his choices and behaviour, his thought processes, death and grief poisoning his outlook on life - I legit felt like I was Shadow, man - the 'found family' of it all was also the one that pulled me in the most - I honestly cannot thank the author enough for breathing more life into the Sonic MCU or something, this was magical and sorely needed by the world, this 'coming-of-age' was incredible and I cannot recommend it enough
