She knows that sometimes things get tough. And it never used to matter. She'd go home, pour herself a drink, and settle in on the couch with an ice pack and some take out. She was tough. She didn't need anyone to take care of her, or fuss about her, or tell her what they thought was best for her. Wounds heal. They always have and they always will.
