November 11th, 1984. It was meant to be a fine week before Thanksgiving in Northtown, Connecticut. Kristy, also, had something she wished to confess. Unfortunately, that confession would ruin the festive mood of Winter and Kristy's whole year from then on. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years, all tense and quiet, and afterward she would be sent to spend the record-breaking Winter in a conversion camp. She would end up experiencing traumatic events there that still shape her two years since her initial arrival, in 1986. But she has new friends in this new town she moved to named Stoneybrooke and a new life to lead. Mary Anne, her best friend for the whole of nearly two years now, and Claudia Kishi, an artist with a weird ass scottish accent and copious amounts of light drugs. She comes up with an ingenious idea to form a Babysitting Club with them, meet some of the single moms around the block, and move on. Maybe even make up with her own mother... if only she could accept her for who she is.
Yada yada. Its a bastardized version of the first graphic novel. Trust when I say that peak is here.
