As he stared at Tav, who was quietly organizing her pack by the fire, his half-formed thoughts and ideas suddenly crystallized into a cold, perfect plan. He’d seduce her, romance her, make her feel like she was the only girl in the world. And after he had given her the night of her life, positively ruined her for anyone else, he’d begin whispering in her ear. He’d become her lover, her confidant. And then she would become his puppet. That was more than a fair trade. He’d have a gorgeous meal, his space would be guaranteed in their little group, at the top where he belonged, and then somehow, he didn’t know how, but, somehow, Tav would waltz their merry band back to Baldur’s Gate and drive a stake right through Cazador Szarr’s heart. For him. Afterwards, well, Tav had served her purpose. Then he could truly do as he pleased.
Astarion smiled a wide, real smile and finished his wine, wincing at the cheap, bitter taste.
At that moment Tav looked up from her supplies and caught him staring. He raised his empty goblet to her and she waved back, a warm smile softening her lovely features.
This was going to be so easy.

My take on the Something Blue AU.
Spike and Buffy get some alone time while under Willow’s spell. Things get hot and heavy and of course the spell breaks…yeah. At that exact moment. Things start to get more complicated from there.
After the spell is over, they quickly find out that their attraction to each other, however, is not. Buffy tries her best to stay away from Spike, but he won’t let her go so easily…They fight and they shag and they hate each other till it makes them quiver, but will they ever be friends? Will they ever be more than just enemies with benefits?
(Set in season 4, but with lots of Spuffy references from the other seasons.)

Author note from Jul. 5, 2025: for everybody wondering if I'll ever finish this, I want you guys to know that I have every intention of completing this story and actually have a lot of ideas I want to implement. I'm just in a bad living situation rn and am dealing with depression as a result, in addition to being stressed out all the time. Hopefully once things improve, I'll be able to work on this more.
Oct. 6, 2025: I'm working on editing existing chapters to make them more consistent and in-line with the tone I want for the broader story. Once I've finished with all the current chapters or am satisfied with the editing, I will (hopefully) resume work on the half-finished next chapter.
