    At first Heaven is a happy and loving place. Then the war happened and Raphael (Crowley) steps in front of a lethal strike from Lucifer that was meant for Aziraphale. However, God's not done with him yet. Now, with Crowley still completely aware of his angelic life and Aziraphale not recognizing him due to God's alterations, they go through the years together and learn about each other in new, but opposite lights. What will happen to the bond they once had? What tests will they have to face? What wounds will need to be healed? How do they gain the unlikeliest of allies with only Crowley knowing about it? How does Crowley go through the years knowing that Aziraphale thinks his angelic self stayed dead? What happens when everything is brought to light and long kept secrets are revealed?     It was a moonless night. The narrow cobblestone street was dark and quiet. No one noticed the grand old car parked there -- no one was awake to notice. Nor would they notice the lanky, forlorn form asleep in the front seat, exhausted with grief.

    This was the first night the bookshop was without its proper guardian. No Angel to pop in on, to sweetly wile away the hours with. Gone. And now they're all only pieces on a chessboard, victims in a great game.

    Crowley groaned again as he threw his head from side to side. He was dreaming...

    One of the aspects of Good Omens Season 3 that contributes to the painful sting of the ending is that Aziraphale and Crowley’s romantic arc was left unfinished. We never got see them get together. Because we didn’t see the get together moment the simplest interpretation is that Aziraphale and Crowley, despite clearly loving each other, never made the leap from best friends to lovers- no love confessions and only the one desperate kiss. Ouch. That heart breaking interpretation seems to be the one that many in fandom are rolling with despite the pain. I think this is a big mistake. The simple explanation is also wrong. Let me put forward an alternative: Aziraphale and Crowley were already a couple by the time we saw them in season 2. Let's review the evidence!!

    Turns out Crowley isnt ready to let all of this just cease because someone damnit he has finally got the courage to do the only thing he has never been able to do before. Forgive himself.
