(In which Jingliu and Skirk look SO ALIKE that I impulsively wrote a fic on that single premise.)Aka Childe interacts with the Astral Express, the Xianzhou Luofu cast, and check-ins on Teyvat. He participates in a few companion quests ranging from Kafka’s to Jingliu’s. She almost laughs at herself. What was she hoping for? That the room might still feel the same? That she might feel the same?
Then she steps inside, and the moment her eyes adjust—
“Sciel,” Lune says in a breath caught somewhere in between. Her guitar disappears in a flurry of chroma particles. “Of course you’d run into me up here.”

Five years on, on a vacation he doesn't even really want to take, and the damaged Avian finds himself dragged into a FUBAR situation that makes Iraq look like a picnic in comparison. Magical barriers(?), vampires(???), people who are friendly and want to take care of him(??????) are almost more than he can take. But in the melee, maybe he finds a soft place to land, soft ginger curls and laughing amber eyes- softness and joy and warmth that he wasn't sure he was even allowed anymore, not since....
Well, first he has to get out of this place. Feelings and mental health can totally come later. Right?
Probably not if Cleo and Pearl have anything to say about it.

In another life, Verso—the true Verso—had risked everything for those pretty words, in another world where the blending of art and literature was forced apart, made forbidden and long thought impossible.
In this life—or unlife, perhaps—he can only stare at both parts of his heart with a hollowed soul and memories of fire upon his skin.

Summary
Kale Vandelay is arrested following the events and subsequent shutdown of SPECTRA and is taken to UMBRA: Max Security Prison in order to atone for his crimes. However, Kale being Kale, opts to figure out a way to escape in order to exact revenge on the wannabe rockstar who took away his empire. However, UMBRA has its own secrets, which lands Kale in hot water, resulting in him making a deal with a mysterious fugitive in order to help both of them with their goals.
Follow the former CEO as he tries to manage his now malfunctioning cybernetics, a gang of ragtag convicts and delinquents, and his own traumas. Will Kale be able to figure out what lies behind UMBRA's doors? Or will the mysterious Warden make sure Kale never sees the light of day again?

Problem number two: Turns out, just unplugging SPECTRA wasn't *good* enough! Chai has been having Kale stuck in his dreams for months ever since he got mind-controlled! And to make matters more annoying, now Kale is pressing him on the whole 'refusing to call mom' issue! Can't a guy sleep in peace?
