Summary
After the horrors of Minas Morgul and the uneasy refuge of Minas Tirith, Legolas returns once more to Imladris, carrying wounds that are not all visible and a silence that even the valley cannot easily mend. Many within Elrond’s house have come to love the Prince of Greenwood, yet love does not erase every old prejudice, nor does healing quiet every whisper.
Rumors begin to move through the valley, soft at first and then sharper. Where there was once welcome, suspicion begins to take root, and Legolas must face not only the shadow left upon him, but the fear it awakens in others.
Meanwhile, destiny stirs beneath Elrond’s roof. What begins between new lovers threatens to unsettle the fragile peace of the House of Elrond. For Elladan and Elrohir, and for the Lord of Imladris himself, the fated meeting is not a simple tale of love beneath the stars, but the first step toward a future none of them are ready to accept.

Summary
Years after the events of the Battle of the Five Armies, Greenwood endures beneath a shadow that has not wholly faded.
Spiders gather once more in the south. Orcs move with growing purpose along the forest’s edges. The peace that followed victory has begun to thin.
Legolas walks the forest with a steadier heart, his duties shared with his husband, Elrohir. Their bond has endured distance, grief, and time, and has become the subject of songs far beyond their borders.
But not all things left in the past remain there.
When Aragorn, newly come into his name and lineage, crosses into Greenwood, old ties stir again, and with them, tensions long unspoken. As shadow gathers and loyalties are tested, the bond between Legolas and Elrohir begins to strain beneath the weight of what neither of them has yet faced.

Summary
Early in the year 2941 of the Third Age, the world begins to stir.
Separated by duty for the second longest stretch of their lives, Legolas and Elrohir each feel the quiet unease of a turning age. In Greenwood, now called Mirkwood beyond its borders, Legolas is haunted by dreams of fire and shadow as the forest itself grows restless. In Imladris, Elrohir watches over a young fosterling whose lineage carries the weight of the past, while old instincts warn him that stillness is no longer an option.
As Dwarves depart in secret from Imladris and ancient powers begin to move, love and foresight draw two long-parted paths back toward one another. This is the moment before choices are made and destinies quietly begin to align.

Aragorn felt a stab in his chest, guilt and love intertwining painfully in his heart, claws digging in deep. Legolas looked positively beautiful, he thought, crowned in the golden rays of the early sun. A dream, something that he would always be to Aragorn. Never anything more.
The elf turned, his hair catching the sun like a net of the finest gold, eyes glittering like emeralds as he tilted his head downwards.
