She didn't have to explain that she'd had a rough few days at work, didn't have to explain that a "rough day at work" didn't just mean a broken copier or annoying coworker. She didn't have to hide her exhaustion to avoid being called a workaholic, and she could let Callen do things like lock the door behind them while she went straight to the couch, because she knew he was even more security-conscious than she was."

Summary
Companion piece to Blame the Moonshine. BtM chronicles Beth and Daryl's journey to Alexandria told through their evolving sleeping habits. Between the Sleeps is essentially a collection of "outtakes" or "bonus chapters" for Blame the Moonshine and tells more of the story of what happens between those sleepy moments, shows more of the perspective of other characters, and more!
(M rating mostly for language and just to be safe. Probably falls closer to T rating)

This series includes my multi-chapter fic "Blame the Moonshine" along with related works in that same universe.
Blame the Moonshine chronicles the story of Beth and Daryl's relationship through their sleeping habits. As the name implies, this series includes that fic, where things mostly happen in the moonlight -- or moon shine, if you will -- as well as supplemental fic(s) that include more about the events that happen in the daylight in that same storyline.
