“What…who the hell is Edward? And what’s wrong with my outfit?”

At this Jaemin actually stomped his right foot like a toddler throwing a fit. “What do you mean vampires aren’t scary anymore?” He whined. Out of all the possibilities of what the future may be like, this had never occurred to him.

Jaemin carefully crouched down slowly so he didn’t startle the hybrid. He slowly reached out and gently ran his hand through the dirty strands of shaggy black hair and scratched behind the white fluffy ears that lay on top of his head. The hybrid quickly startled awake as a whimper broke from his mouth, flinching away from his touch.
“Shhh…. It’s okay pup, it’s okay. I just want to help you not hurt you.” The hybrid wouldn’t meet Jaemin’s eyes as he scooted a little closer to the door to get away from him. Jaemin noticed a dull silver tag that hung from the collar on the hybrids neck. The tag said Jeno. “Is that your name, Jeno?”

Summary
Jaemin finally gets a job as a photographer for NCU's school paper. However, much to his dismay he's assigned to photograph the school's sporting events. Soon he finds himself at all the school's baseball games and can't help but notice the beautiful pitcher on the mound.
He's content watching the pitcher through the viewfinder on his camera until his journalist sidekick Jungwoo can't make it to the game and tasks Jaemin with interviewing the all-star pitcher Lee Jeno after the game.

“Well, do you think the distance is because you’re beta? Since you don’t contribute much within a pack dynamic.” Yeosang couldn’t even hide his sharp inhale that time, but the interviewer carried on either not caring or noticing his discomfort.
“Or do you think that distance is due to a lack of compatibility in professional settings, seeing as outside of visuals you don’t do as much as the others.”
Yeosang felt like the walls were closing in on him.
After a horrible interview, Yeosang finds himself spiralling with insecurities about his place both within the group as both a performer and a pack member and makes the decision to leave their home during San's rut, thinking that he's unneeded. Needless to say, the rest of the pack has something to say about this.
