Summary
I was not happy with the incorrect design that Sunstreaker was given in the movie. I think he deserves to be his beautiful self, had this idea about where he might be in relation to Sideswipe and how the dark underside of a classist society might be far darker than it appears.
Using some of the universe building ideas from ‘Chasing Foxes’ by extension_cord, specifically the idea that no transformation cogs also means not full working interfacing equipment.

Both Drift and Ratchet have a lot of emotional baggage. Unfortunately, they're stuck together on the tiniest shuttle that was ever built and there are only so many ways to pass the time. Their sights are set on an outpost where they can upgrade their battered armor, but arriving there in one piece may prove to be difficult.
Or, more accurately: Drift and Ratchet pass the time with banter, clanging, and unspoken feelings.

Zagreus and Thanatos reconnect after Zagreus’ initial success in leaving the underworld. Very canon-compliant, basically just how I imagined/wanted their romance to go down in the game itself, but with some way more explicit (mildly kinky) payoff at the end.
This fic has been brought to you entirely by my whole horny energy while waiting for Than to show up again during my numerous attempts at the game.
Takes place after the first (couple of) successful escapes, but no spoilers for tenth escape or epilogue.
