I've read this series at least five times now and every time I learn something new or I get a different perspective on things,,,
Also it has gotten me through some of my darkest times, really a life-saver. I love how much I can relate to the characters and how visible the author makes some disabilities and disorders.
Of course they kinda romanticize some illnesses but honestly??? This series has helped me so much I couldn't care less about the romantization of some issues in fanfaction. Oh how contained I feel by this, how understood, how real. Makes me feel like I matter despite of how heavy my baggage is, that we all deserve to get help.
It's also a nice reminder to be gentle to ourselves and others, that everybody (and every body) struggles.
These are my comfort fanfics that I'll always come back to and I couldn't be more grateful with author.
Also, I've read most of their work and its all amazing, it's like watching a movie most of the times.
Such talent and what a great, reflexive human.
