James could just to shut his eyes, give in to the tantalising promise of sleep and Sirius would probably never bring it up again.

"Is it so bad that she's Peter's sister?" Remus Lupin asked softly.
Sirius whirled around, his black hair moving with him.
"All this time," he hissed, "she didn't say a bloody word. Not a whisper.”
He slammed his fist against the wall. "Did she think it wouldn't matter? That I wouldn't care that she's related to the sniveling, cowardly rat who betrayed us all?”
He looked back at Remus with something akin to despair.
