Summary
When the bat first took to the night he was a cryptid.
Something whispered about in hushed tones, his name never spoken aloud during the night for fear of summoning him. Mothers in desperate attempts to control their children would use him as a threat, behave or The Bat will come for you.
Then time passed. Little by little, the gothamites learned, The Bat wouldn’t harm them. He was their protector, fighting against the criminals and rogues of the cursed city. Still not entirely human, sure, no human would be insane to do what he did every night. No human capable of what The Bat was capable of. However, not something for the average person to fear.
That’s when the offerings appeared.
Small trinkets left on windowsills, sometimes with notes, sometimes without. Offerings ranging from the superstitious to the practical. A couple coins, a home baked good, a protein bar. All of them though were offerings to The Bat, to get on his good side, to guide him in his efforts to protect the city.

Summary
I've been working on this for a while, but between my days of recovery fic last month and some bad news I got this morning, I just want to post it, leave it where it is and focus on other stories that interest me. Tim Drake, aged 16, is lonely once again. But now he's Robin. He keeps talking into the walkie, and his one-man audience happens to still be the same... if a bit more murderous.

When he gets booked for the big Wayne Halloween party, however, he finds himself getting all tangled up with the Waynes, and the more fortunes he tells, the tighter the snare becomes.or: Tim just wanted to scam Gotham's elite, not end up on the Batfamily's watchlist. But it seems they just won't leave him alone...

Unable to find the dog's owner, Tim brought her home just for the night. What his parents didn’t know couldn’t hurt them. As Lucy's visit extended, and the lies stacked up, the reality of taking care of her set in. Hard.
Mr. Wayne sniffing around was both the best and worst thing that could’ve happened. Was Batman hot on his tail, or did Mr. Wayne actually want to help? Despite knowing that they needed to cut ties, the more Mr. Wayne showed up, the less Tim wanted to do this alone.
Lucy’s best chance might just mean facing up to everything he was trying to hide.

The world was not a pretty place.
Kageyama was ashamed of his second gender. He didn't have his parents to convince him the world was a pretty place - they showed him how ugly the world is the moment they found out about his omega status. He knew of the many possibilities lost because of his status. This is why he is not known to be an omega. He was labeled as a beta, covering up what his parents identified as a ‘mistake’.
It seemed he would never have his happy ending. He was okay with that. He was okay with everyone taking one look at him and deciding he was a useless, pathetic, tyrant. He won’t give up. He won’t give anyone another reason to hate him. He’ll keep pushing through.
But it seems that he pushed too far.
