All the characters are just really fun! It has some nice twists. The best parts are the cute scenes, author’s gift with tension, character relationships (platonic and romantic), and how it doesn’t feel too game-y. Like there’s stats and common systems/concepts but you aren’t looking at a few pages of numbers every chapter.

How about it buddy, you want to be a house-wolf?” She reaches out and strokes a hand down its broad shoulders, then knots her fingers in the plush strands and grips tightly.
The wolf swings its big head over to look at her and Abigail’s heart stops beating.
