This fic was written for Day 1 of Jeckole Week 2025 using the prompt 'Role Swap'!
I went for more of a Nature vs Nurture angle on the prompt - what would happen to Nicole and Jecka if they swapped upbringings? How would Nicole's mental health issues manifest through a more privileged childhood, and how would Jecka handle one full of struggle and instability? Hopefully this short fic has a satisfying enough answer to that question <3
